Our Impending Announcement

from Our Coma Summer by Titans of Filth

/

lyrics

Smoking by the creek with much regret. One last cigarette. We take turns. She's laughing. I'm embarrassed by my mother's kitty hygiene concerns. Those kitty kisses break a barrier.

We held each other tight like two lonely people. We each recorded it in our own way. Me in a letter to my cousin Matthew. Soon a prayer for my judgement day emerged from the bag of the mail carrier.

The sweet sound of thunder threatens my soul out here in the darkness near the gate. I wonder if she'll come like she promised? It's early in the morning. She's running late and I wonder if I might have to marry her.
